Just the other day I was on the phone with PIA confirming reservations for a friend flying in from the US. The chap on the other end of the line spoke at an insane speed. I had a hard time keeping up with him for most of the conversation and I'm pretty sure he was ticked off because I kept asking him "jee?", "sorry?"... but we managed to have a successful conversation for the most part. Finally at the end he said:
pleasegetpassportdetailsandconfirmthankyouforcallingPIAAllahHafiz
and hung up. A minute later I pieced together what he had said. I figure these guys probably have a million calls to handle and have most of what they say memorized. But the caller is not privy to said information. At the very least don't hang up until the caller responds. And how do they get by without breathing. Amazing ability.
